10th Anniversary Speaker Series

At CNE we’re celebrating our 10th Anniversary year by doing what we do best — sparking new ideas, new leaders, and new collaborations — in order to foster a more resilient community. During our 10th year, we want to give back to a community that has been so generous to us by spotlighting unusual voices and uncommon action that can help all of us develop the tools we need to thrive in the next decade. Join us in this year of exploration!

The speaker series is now complete.

We thank all the presenters & participants who joined us for this successful series.

And look for ParadigmShifters: a new leadership conversation and the Ten Good Things Party coming in 2017!

And explore how funders across the country are learning new strategies and developing new models for partnership with the agencies they fund to achieve systemic community change.

CommunityBuilders

a resilient community collaborates

We all know that collaboration can help us tackle our most pressing community challenges, and that we can accomplish more community change together than as individual sectors or agencies. But pressing questions remain: What are our best, most effective strategies for collective impact? How can we leverage investment by encouraging funding collaboratives? What is the role of advocacy in collaboration? How do we mobilize stakeholders for active participation? Who are our most powerful collaborative leaders?

Join us for coffee & a round table discussion with this year’s Philanthropy Day guest speaker, Melody Barnes who, with the Aspen Institute, is leading a national forum on best practices in local collaboration. And stay after the round table for our 10th Anniversary Philanthropy Day celebration.

Hosted by CNE in partnership with the Early Education Task Force and sponsored by Virginia National Bank.
