Program Assessment
Through workshops, coaching, and additional resources provided, the Management Academy aims to provide participants with knowledge of core nonprofit functions, as well as a launching point to further explore and potentially contribute to their respective organizations in additional capacities.

In 2019, for the first time, we asked the Management Academy faculty to explicitly address a) the ethical aspects of their topic and b) ways in which their topic intersects with issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Program Improvements
We at CNE are considering some changes to the program based on participant feedback. Please answer the following questions to help guide our decisions.
Based on your experience, which of the following options would be most beneficial to future participants:
- An additional hour of career coaching with Susan Bennett (or another career coach) — with a $50 increase in registration fees
- A one-hour, one-on-one session with a Management Academy trainer of your choice to receive additional training on a specific topic (i.e. program evaluation, marketing, etc.) — with a $50 increase in registration fees
- Neither — with no increase in registration fees
Based on your experience, which of the following would be most beneficial to future participants:
- An additional, 2-hour session focused on personnel management/performance review — with a $25 increase in registration fees
- An additional, 2-hour session focused on change management — with a $25 increase in registration fees
- Neither — with no increase in registration fees
Based on your experience, which of the following would be most beneficial to future participants:
- Maintain the current structure (15 person cohort for reflective management seminars with open enrollment for Nonprofit 101 sessions)
- Make all sessions limited to the 15-person cohort — but increase registration fees
- Make all sessions (reflective management and Nonprofit 101) limited to the cohort — but increase the cohort to a maximum of 24 participants
Based on your experience, which of the following would be most beneficial to future participants:
- Maintain the current structure with reflective management seminars, career coaching, and Nonprofit 101 sessions (with or without some of the above suggested additions)
- Split Management Academy into two distinct programs: 1. a series of six (6) two-hour Nonprofit 101 workshops and 2. a series of four (4), two-hour, cohort-based reflective seminars with an increased focused on personnel management, performance reviews, "managing up", and change management
- Make all sessions (reflective management and Nonprofit 101 — with or without some of the above suggested additions) limited to the cohort — but increase the cohort to a maximum of 24 participants
