The CEO’s Role in Fundraising
Are you facing high turnover rates in your fundraising staff? Poor partnerships with the CEO are one of the main reasons development professionals cite for leaving. How do you keep your team together? A successful approach to fundraising requires a strong, trust-based relationship between the CEO, the organization’s chief fundraiser, and Board Members.
In this interactive session, participants will learn tools to strengthen their collaborative fundraising skills, and entice even the most reluctant solicitor to excel—and even enjoy asking for a gift. Participants will learn how to constructively provide feedback and coach their partner on their solicitation approach—and have fun while doing so.
Whether you are a CEO, CDO, DOD, Major Gift Officer, or Board member, this presentation will offer some easy tools to employ to create a collaborative and productive partnership between the corner office and the development office.
This session counts as 1.5 pts towards CFRE accreditation.
