Workshops

Race, Equity, and Your Organization

You want your board to reflect the diversity of the communities your organization serves. You want your organization to support talented staff members of different identities and backgrounds. And you want to be proactive in creating this change. But where do you start? With Ebony Walden and Matthew Freeman‘s four-hour workshop on racial equity in your organization.

This session will review various racial equity tools to give nonprofits an overview of how to integrate explicit consideration of racial equity in policies, practices, and programs. Use of these tools can help participants develop strategies and actions that reduce racial inequities and improve success for all groups.
