Lonely at the Top No More: Strengthening Board/Staff Relationships
Larry Goldstein and Deborah Arenstein, The Board Whisperers, invite non-profit Board and Staff leadership to join us for an extended lunch hour of discussion, coaching and team building designed to have a positive impact on the most important relationship in your organization.
We believe the Board Chair/Executive Director (or Head of School) leadership partnership is the fulcrum upon which the success of your organization rests. As this dyad goes, so goes the health of your organization. We work to bring focus to the importance of this relationship, as well as providing skills to support your work together.
We realize that as non-profit leaders, providing vital community services, you are already working as a team, addressing the needs of your clients, students, staff, Board, volunteers and donors, all inside of your commitment to mission. We will work with you to name the strengths that already exist and to discover and develop the new roles that will support you in fulfilling your mission.
This workshop will help clarify the universal themes in the Board Chair – ED relationship and provide activities that build upon your strengths and help you name next steps moving forward as a leadership team.
This training is part of our Brown Bag Lunch series–informative sessions to get you thinking about the topics that matter to nonprofits. Don’t forget your lunch!
