Introduction to Identifying Agency Impact
Evaluation links strategy to programs to effectiveness – and evaluation provides the information needed to communicate impact to donors. A solid approach to evaluation should articulate why you are doing what you do, what you do to achieve your mission, and how your work results in measurable change for your constituents.

Strategic Impact Mapping meaningfully informs your evaluation process and your strategic planning.
In this session, Maryfrances Porter provides a useful introduction to Strategic Impact Mapping as an articulation of the impact you want to measure. You will make the very first steps in creating your own Strategic Impact Map. Through this workshop, you will learn to:
- Align evaluation with your organizational vision and mission
- Set measurable, organizational goals for programming
- Demonstrate effort through measuring productivity
- Communicate success through clarifying impact
