Developing and Managing Interns

Do you manage interns or are you thinking of implementing an intern program at your organization? If so, join members of the UVA Career Center to learn about best practices for managing and evaluating interns. And inspire students in their commitment to service and non-profit leadership!

Participants will…

  • Consider internship structure and management practices that fit their organization
  • Create an Internship Learning Plan (ILP) to guide the internship experience
  • Discuss Intern Evaluation best practices
  • Identify learning outcomes and impact for your organization – goals and measurement
  • Connect with the UVA Career Center resources for internship postings, recruitment, funding or academic credit options for students
