AMA-CNE Like Minds: Managing Social Media (with Limited Staff & Budget)
Managing multiple social media accounts is a must for most non-profits. But how do you make time for your organization’s Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Twitter accounts if you are a team of one? Hear how Kristen Thomas Sancken of local nonprofit ReadyKids made the most of their social accounts. Then, join a discussion about social media management and meet other nonprofit communicators with the same challenges.
Kristin Thomas Sancken is the Communication Officer at ReadyKids. With a Master’s Degree in Macro Practice Social Work, she specializes in how good non-profit communication can change community opinion and policy to improve home, school, and neighborhood environments for children.
Like Minds is a collaboration between Central Virginia Chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMACVA) and Center for Nonprofit Excellence. This group provides an opportunity for nonprofit marketers to share challenges, swap stories and get industry updates. To encourage small-group discussion, registration will be limited to 20 participants. We encourage participants to register early!
This program is only open to CNE-member marketing professionals and AMA members currently working for a nonprofit organization.
American Sign Language interpreters or other communication access accommodations are available upon request. Please submit any accommodations requests to Andrew Robinson, Program Manager, 434-951-9042 or arobinson@thecne.org.
