Financial Modeling

NEW Resource for Contingency Planning
a Finance Academy Program in Partnership with CFA Institute

Need a financial modeling tool to help you contingency plan for your organization?

CNE recognizes that the nonprofit financial landscape is deeply disrupted due to the coronavirus pandemic. We are now offering nonprofits a new service to help develop a streamlined, but customized financial modeling tool to consider different financial scenarios for maintaining financial stability through this pandemic and into recovery. The tool will give you the structure you need to forecast your financial future, including: identifying revenue and expense assumptions, determining potential variables, and proactively developing financial scenarios that help you manage financial risk.

What? Nonprofits will work with a financial forecasting expert to create a financial modeling tool for their organization. If needed, organizations will have access to a 30-minute HR advisory session to explore different staffing scenarios as part of the forecasting.

Who? Nonprofit executives, CFO’s, and/or staff engaged in finance for the organization.

When? Slots are available to CNE members on a first-come, first served basis. Space is limited.

Cost? Sliding scale from $250 to $0, depending on your organization’s ability to pay. Full scholarships are available.

If you have questions about the program or would like to participate, please contact Jenn Sweigart at jsweigart@thecne.org.
