Mission Statement
The mission of The Women’s Initiative is to provide women with effective counseling, social support and education so they can transform life challenges into positive change and growth.
Overview
The Women’s Initiative provides vital mental health services for women regardless of ability to pay. We offer individual counseling on a sliding scale and a free walk-in clinic. Our therapeutic support groups and social support opportunities offer safe, welcoming group environments. And our Education and Outreach program aims to provide evidence-based mental health and wellness skills to the community, decrease stigma around mental health issues, and increase access to care.
