Supervisor, ADRC Development

Description

JABA is seeking qualified candidate for Supervisor, ADRC Development. This position ensures the development and implementation of a strategic plan in a manner compatible with the JABA’s No Wrong Door (NWD)/Aging and Disability Resource Connector (ADRC) designation. Needs comprehensive understanding of NWD/ADRC principles and components.  Problem solve (including negotiation with consumers and service providers).   Advocate for and coordinate diverse NWD/ADRC service delivery with other JABA programs and services.  This positon involves developing extensive the NWD tool and performing quality control monitoring of all staff input activities; in order to effectively measure organizational performance. Knowledge of on-line and off-line public and private community support services resources is required.  Individual should have a working knowledge of public benefit programs and aging and disability issues Model and practice excellence in interpersonal, performance and communication skills for staff and others.  Candidate must be able establish and sustain interpersonal relationships with staff and collaborative partners.

Must possess strong computer skills to include Microsoft Office, email applications, and internet.

Skills Required

  Bachelor’s degree with minimum of three years’ experience in human services area. Several years of demonstrated work experience in the delivery of human services. Prior experience in program supervision is highly desirable. Certification as a Virginia State certified Options Counselor within three months of hire.

Work Schedule

Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5Pm. 37.50 hour work week.
