Description
Apply to be a Light House Freelancer. This position is open to High School and College students with advanced video production experience. Light House Productions offers video services to local nonprofits and businesses. With guidance from a Mentor, Light House Freelancers will take on professional video jobs, produce original content for a client, develop technical knowledge and build a portfolio.
Projects and schedules will vary depending on the client.
How does it work?
Once selected as a Light House Freelancer, you will receive announcements for upcoming projects. Those available will be assigned to a project.
Beyond the experience and connections, are there additional benefits?
When the project is complete you will receive a copy of the final film for your portfolio, invitation to event screening (if applicable), and a stipend (based on project scope) or community service hours.
Can I apply anytime?
Yes! We will review applications on a rolling basis to fill all Freelancer slots. Once all slots are full we will keep your application on file for 12 months and notify you if a space opens. If you are not selected, you are welcome to apply again after 12 months.
