The Facilities Development Division of the Charlottesville Public Works Department is seeking a qualified candidate to join our team as a Construction Project Manager to promote the completion of non-capital and capital government and school facility projects.
Preferred hiring salary is between $60,614.01 to $83,844.39 annually. Starting offer is based on applicable education, experience, and internal equity. Any combination of education and experience equivalent to degree from an accredited two-year college or university which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Minimum of three years of comprehensive project management experience in full life-cycle project management that includes experience in directing and leading project teams. (Examples of relevant experience include residential or commercial facilities construction, construction management, architecture, engineering and/or capital project management.)

- Preference for a Four-Year College Degree or Master’s Degree.
- Preference for three to five years of experience directing/managing a variety of complex and challenging project assignments of significantly large scale and considerable cost.
