Description
Responsible for leading the technical accounting and internal control related aspects of the agency. Duties include closing, reconciliations, accounting policy implementation, and communication of results/policy with senior leaders of the business. Role will manage 4 team members, plus closely coordinate with accounting staff at a satellite operation. Ideal position for a large-shop accounting supervisor seeking broader responsibilities in a smaller work environment. Prefer experience with a) payroll, b) multiple entities and consolidations, and c) complex accounting systems.
Skills Required
Qualifications include Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and demonstrated understanding of U.S. GAAP principles. Prefer experience a) supervising others, b) with GASB and/or non-profit accounting, c) with multiple entities and consolidations, and d) with complex accounting systems, scripting, and report writing. CPA or CMA advantageous.
