Description

The Thomas Jefferson Foundation at Monticello seeks a highly skilled individual to support the President and manage the President’s office. Ideal candidates will be experienced executive assistants who enjoy providing and managing daily administrative support that includes scheduling, travel, briefings, budgeting, VIP hospitality and project management, often in close coordination with other departments. Successful candidates should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess superior communication skills for both interpersonal and written communication. This role will require managing tasks with urgent deadlines, upholding confidentiality, adjusting to changing priorities, and reporting to work in the office during standard business hours, with occasional support required on evenings and weekends. Candidates should have expertise in the MS Office suite, be comfortable learning new databases and videoconferencing software, and doing basic IT troubleshooting. A four-year college degree and prior experience at the executive assistant level is strongly preferred; an interest in nonprofit work and American history is a plus. Please attach a cover letter, salary requirements, and resume along with electronic application. Open until filled.
