Description

Mountaintop Montessori, a private independent school, is currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill a part-time assistant position working with children between the ages of 18 months and 3 years for the remainder of the 17-18 school year and summer. This position’s tentative start date will be mid April and will end mid August, but has the potential to continue into the 18-19 school year with extended hours. Desired profile for this position is someone who has experience working  with children, possesses strong classroom management skills, and has the ability to guide children through redirection and affirmative words. An open-mind, a sense of humor, and flexibility are also highly desired. Job duties include (but are not limited to) fixing and serving snack, classroom maintenance/cleaning, potty-training support, and general monitoring of playground and classroom activities to ensure safety.

 

Start Date: mid April

Hours: April-June (3:00-5:30 PM) and June-August (midday-5:30 PM)
