Director of Community Engagement

Director of Community Engagement – Full time, 40 Hours per week

Responsible for the following job duties:

• Lead ReadyKids’ community engagement and inclusion strategy.
• Conduct strategic community outreach
• Establish authentic community listening practices to best inform ReadyKids’ response to community needs
• Serves on the Agency’s Leadership Team to participate in agency wide decision-making and setting agency vision and strategy

Successful candidates will have:

• Equivalent experience to bachelor’s degree and/or bachelor’s degree required, experience in community organizing and/or advocacy especially helpful
• Strong people skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and exercise sound judgment
• Demonstrated skills in authentic listening, motivational interviewing, and reaching marginalized communities

Compensation/Benefits:

• Salary: starting at $50,000
