Interested in advancing your career in affordable housing property management? We are seeking applicants with experience at tax credit and/or HUD apartment communities who demonstrate excellent customer service skills and growth potential. Join our growing team as a Community Manager with Alliance Management, an affiliate of Piedmont Housing Alliance, a Charlottesville non-profit organization with a mission to create housing opportunities and build community. The Community Manager oversees day-to-day operations of two apartment communities in Crozet, Albemarle County, and works with the maintenance technician to deliver high-quality affordable housing opportunities for our residents. Responsibilities include leasing available units, completing resident qualification certifications, collecting rent, overseeing property maintenance, ensuring compliance with applicable rules and regulations, and monitoring performance to budget.
Skills Required
Qualifications: three years of property management (including assistant manager) experience; working knowledge of property management software and Microsoft Office programs; and experience with tax credit and/or HUD compliance. Must be able to successfully pass all required background checks and other pre-employment screening.
