Description
The CNA Program Assistant is directly responsible for providing high quality daily care that meets both physical and social needs of the Center’s Intergenerational members. Primary job duties include but are not limited to engaging with members, serving meals, assist with personal care activities, working with children in Shining Star program minimum 10 hours a week. Conducting intergenerational activities. Qualified candidate will be observant, exhibit good judgment, reliable, congenial, enthusiastic and cooperative. Must ahead to HIPAA policies and procedures.
Must be able to lift 30 pounds, clear a criminal background check and a TB test
Skills Required
Minimum qualifications – High school diploma; Completed approved training and maintain a current and valid registration as a Certified Nursing Assistant through the Virginia State Board of Nursing; Current CPR and First Aid Certification. Must have previous experience with the elderly or handicapped persons.
