Clinician II/III Crisis Intervention, Child and Family Services
Position works as part of the Child & Adolescent Community Based Services team by providing crisis intervention services to children and families, primarily in home, school and other clinically-appropriate community settings. To meet desired outcomes, will work closely with juvenile court services, social services, schools and other local agencies to enhance local crisis services and for the purposes of coordination of care. Incumbent will also provide substance abuse and mental health assessments, VICAP assessments, individual and family counseling, and act as a triage for families and emergency services. Schedule is mostly daytime hours and will include some evening hours according to client needs. Master’s degree in pertinent mental health field required. Two year’s experience with child/adolescent population preferred. Salary negotiable.
Clinician I/II/III – PACT
Region Ten is seeking to fill a newly created position on the PACT program serving adults with serious mental illness. The incumbent is responsible for providing intensive community treatment services to this population. Work includes thorough assessment of needs, development and implementation of individual service plans, medication management, and training in functional skills such as activities of daily living, social skills, interpersonal relationships, financial management, etc. Position requires strong organizational and time management skills, excellent writing skills, flexibility, and self-motivation. Must meet certification as Qualified Mental Health Professional – Adult (QMHP–Adult) as set forth by Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services. Valid VA driver’s license and acceptable driving record is required. The schedule is primarily weekdays 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with some evening (12 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.) shifts and one or two Saturdays or Sundays per month. Supervision for licensure available.
Clinician II/III Louisa, Outpatient Full Time and PRN.
Full time position available to work with children, adolescents, adults and their families at Region Ten’s outpatient center located in rural Louisa, Virginia. Incumbent must be skilled and comfortable providing assessment and treatment services to diverse populations. May provide crisis intervention, triage or crisis counseling services. Clinician position to work Monday – Friday with some early evening hours. Will provide consultation to other agencies, including schools. Master’s degree and licensure in Virginia; LPC preferred.
