VFN enhances the effectiveness of our members’ work through networking, collaboration, learning, and leverage. Dedicated to working together to help ensure that all who call Virginia home, regardless of race, gender, age, ability or geography, have the resources they need to thrive. Our organizational values of community, curiosity, inclusion, and collaboration guide our strategy, inform our work, and serve as a beacon as we continue to grow and learn as an organization.

The Opportunity

On behalf of the VFN, Warren Whitney seeks an experienced professional as CEO, who will provide leadership for all aspects of the organization including management of the strategic plan. The CEO reports to a diverse 15-member volunteer Advisory Board of Directors to lead in achieving the organization’s mission, provide resources in perpetuity to advance organizations, systems, and public policy crucial to community health and well-being; target behavioral and social risk factors that influence the health of individuals throughout the life span; strengthen the healthcare safety-net for uninsured and underinsured individuals.
