Description
Thank you for your interest in applying for a role with Wildrock this summer! Wildrock, a Crozet-based nonprofit that promotes nature play for health and happiness. Camp Wildrock is an outdoor summer day camp that incorporates environmental education, child-led placemaking, creative expression, and opportunities for social and emotional development through free play in nature. We offer programs at Wildrock and in ACPS and CCS schoolyards. Each week offsite includes a field trip out to Wildrock’s Nature Playscape & Discovery Center in the Blue Ridge foothills.
We are hiring educators and mental health professionals with experience working with children to support our summer camp programs.
Job Duties
Wildrock is staffed by experienced educators and counselors. All staff are focussed on supporting children’s social and emotional development through the joys of nature immersion experiences.
Wildrock emphasizes the values of kindness, inclusivity, cooperation, and care for the natural world.
