Purpose Statement

The job of the Applications Administration Contractor was established to support the organizational use of Salsa, our CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software.  This position would act as liaison between technical and non-technical people within Friends Of Nelson and Salsa Labs.

Responsibilities:

Study Salsa and become the in-house expert on all aspects of the program.

Train various staff, Board and volunteers how to use Salsa to accomplish their tasks.

Troubleshoot and resolve all problems encountered with hardware and software.   Escalate requests to the appropriate party, as needed.

Provide support to the Web Page team, membership secretary, Treasurer and President

Conduct briefings and demonstrations for users to enhance system productivity.

Assist in the development of training materials.

Attend courses to develop and keep skills and knowledge current.

Complete special projects as requested.

Report directly to Treasurer regarding tasks, schedule and invoice reimbursement.

Hours and schedule:  Part time.  Grant funded.

Hours:  First 4 weeks will be 16 hours per week in order to learn Salsa.

The second 4 weeks will be 12 hours per week,  spent for getting reports and data from Salsa which will be useful for the Board, staff and volunteers.

The next 44 weeks will be 8 hours per week.  Tasks to be determined.

Contract: $25 per hour.  Application deadline:  October 26, 2016

Skills Required

Qualifications

2 years prior experience with managing data base, CRM, Salsa Labs or equivalent computer program applications.  Experience managing a Salsa Labs installation preferred.

The ability to prioritize, be attentive to details, maintain confidentiality, and provide exceptional client service is required.

Demonstrated communication, interpersonal, organizational, analytical, problem-solving and computer skills required.

A sense of urgency and a commitment to timely completion of projects. Attention to detail along with a commitment to quality and confidentiality.
