Description
JABA is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Activity Assistant. The Activity Assistant is responsible for the development of the monthly activity calendar and the facilitation of the daily programming. Successful candidates will be creative, outgoing and comfortable leading activities of all types in group settings. Collaboration with community organizations within the Jefferson School City Center and larger community required to conduct a variety of programming included but not limited to educational presentations, exercise, intergenerational programming and games. Strong communication and detail organization skills required.

Skills Required
An Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Therapeutic Recreation, the Arts, Occupational Therapy or other relevant field preferred. Experience in program management and facilitation is preferred.
