Matthew specializes in facilitating challenging conversations so that groups can find new solutions to intractable problems like poverty, racial equity, or immigration issues. He has over 15 years’ experience working on race and diversity issues, equity, civic engagement, and organizational development. He has facilitated dialogues on the impact of race on policy with members of Congress, led multi-year organizational culture change projects, and taught a course on dialogue as a peace-building tool. He is the author of Overcoming Bias: Building Authentic Relationships Across Differences.
