Selena is a facilitator and trainer who works at the University of Virginia and as an independent consultant focusing on strategic planning, team building, and diversity, equity and inclusion. Prior to focusing her career on facilitation and training, Selena taught at the secondary and collegiate levels in Albemarle County and at UVa. Selena was born and raised in Philadelphia and after having completed three degrees at the University of Virginia (BA, MT, and PhD), Selena has come to call Charlottesville home. Her current community service includes serving women of color as a Certified Doula and serving on the UCARE Steering Committee. She is a 2019 graduate of the CNE’s Board Academy.
