John Dumm, Vice Chair, has thirty-five years of senior management experience in international health in the foreign service of the United States and in the non-profit sector. As a foreign-service officer with USAID, he lived in Asia for twenty years designing, negotiating and managing reproductive and child health assistance programs in Bangladesh, the Philippines and India. Upon retirement from the foreign-service, he served for 12 years as the senior vice president and chief operating officer of Pathfinder International, an international reproductive health organization. He has traveled and worked in over 30 developing countries. He is especially interested in finding innovative ways to develop sustainable non-profit institutions, both programmatically as well as financially. John has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Seton Hall University and has studied as a fellow at the Edward A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.
