The Voices of CNE

August 25, 2016

We are always seeking ways to do good work better at CNE. And so we’ve decided to better our Blog.

It’s a nice blog. It features our newsletter Announcements and summaries of What We’re Reading. But we thought we’d liven it up a bit with our voices—the eight voices of CNE staff—and maybe some guest bloggers as well!

We’re approaching our new Staff Features with a playful spirit. You might find a serious piece on sector trends. You might learn a bit more about the work culture of CNE. You’ll hear from our Executive Director every now and then. And you may even discover a recipe or two. Because CNE loves food and knows good food is important to having a productive day.

We hope there will be a little something for everyone in our blog. Some professional musings. Some humor. Some human interest. And food. Did I mention food?

We’re starting off with two features a month. Program Manager, Andrew Robinson, dove right in with Got a Great Employee? Hold on to Them. . . Or Not! a piece about the importance of staff talent development. And Communications Coordinator, Zoe Krylova, contributed with a piece about CNE’s Staff Retreat, We Retreat, and Renewed, We Move Forward, a retreat that focused on team building and core values. And food.

Keep an eye out for our Staff Features! We hope everyone will gain a little something from the CNE Blog.

CNE is excited to launch 7 Actionable Principles for a Strong Social Sector!

We encourage you to check out the site and you can find a recording of our launch town hall here.
