What Foundations Are Missing About Capacity Building
jul16-04-146274693In this article from Harvard Business Review, Dan Pallotta discusses the traditional unwillingness of most foundations to allow more than 10% of grant funds to be put towards administrative costs. He notes the Ford Foundation’s recent removal of the 10% cap and argues that this migration toward “capacity-building” is critical to the success of the sector.
