  • Office Furniture: Alzheimer's Association would appreciate the donation of 1-3 office desks particularly if they include return pieces or are in the shape of an L.  Contact Sue Friedman

  • Club Pathway: provides meaningful work projects for individuals experiencing early to mid-stage memory loss. Members gather each Tuesday and Thursday afternoon for lunch and a work session preparing local non-profit organizations' bulk mailings, newsletters, annual appeals, invitations, mail outs and handouts.  If your organization could benefit from the services of Club Pathway or if you would like additional information, please contact Suzanne Brower, 817-5267.

  • Paramount Theater Ballroom: Available for First Fridays Exhibitions
    Local artists seeking a space for a First Fridays show should contact Kyle Rodland at The Paramount Theater to explore availability of the Hunter J. Smith Ballroom.   • Community Chalkboard -- advertise your nonprofit on the Downtown Mall
    Need to get the word out about your organization and/or an upcoming event? Take advantage of the crowds at Fridays After Five by creating a pedestrian billboard on the Community Chalkboard. You can use any part of the 104' wide and 7.5' foot high Chalkboard to write your message in front of which you can set up a table to hand out materials. Contact Josh Wheeler at 434-295-4784 or jjw@tjcenter.org and the folks at the Thomas Jefferson Center for the Protection of Free Expression will help to clean the chalkboard for your use.
  • Items For Take Apart Table: Virginia Discovery Museum
    Old computers, printers, keyboards, telephones, or other equipment to get rid of, please donate it for our kids to take apart. We do not accept items containing glass. You may drop off your items Tuesdays through Sundays before 5:00 PM.
