What is the Center for Nonprofit Excellence?

New Report on the Impact of the Nonprofit Sector in our Region and Virginia.
We all know that nonprofits do great things for their communities, but did you know that the nonprofit sector is Virginia's 2nd largest employer?
This new report looks at the impact of nonprofits on the economy of Virginia and compares us to other states in our region, and the country as a whole. In addition to the statewide data, CNE commissioned a breakout section specifically focused on Albemarle, Fluvanna, Greene, Nelson and Charlottesville.
The state wide study was commissioned by the Connect Network and the Community Foundation Serving Richmond and Central Virginia. The research was completed by the Center for Civil Society Studies at Johns Hopkins University. Go to the report.
