Cooperating Collections provide tools for nonprofit organizations and those serving under-resourced and underserved populations seeking vital information and training to become successful grantseekers.
At CNE’s resource center, access is free and available to resources such as
- The Cooperating Collection’s detailed information on grantmakers and how to apply for grants
- The Foundation Directory Online with profiles of more than 80,000 U.S. grantmakers
- Foundation Grants to Individuals Online
- Print directories
- Proposal writing guides
- A trained Cooperating Collection supervisor
Reference materials of the Cooperating Collection enhance the current holdings at CNE which include nonprofit-based books, articles and periodicals not available in other Charlottesville locations.
Frequent training sessions in utilizing materials of the Foundation Center are scheduled at CNE in addition to open hours for research.
